The company, Acer introduced a new gaming laptop Predator Helios 500. As the manufacturer notes, this is the top model for demanding gamers with the most productive processors Intel Core i9 8th generation.
The laptop is equipped with a 17.3-inch display with a resolution of Full HD or 4K, hardware synchronization of NVIDIA G-Sync and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. It uses the Intel Core i9 processor of the 8th generation, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card with overclocking capability, an Intel Optane drive for faster OS and application downloads, high-speed solid-state drives with NVMe interface, a Killer DoubleShot Pro network adapter and up to 64 GB of RAM.
The cooling system includes five heat pipes and two Acer AeroBlade 3D fans with the ability to adjust the speed and temperature monitoring through the PredatorSense application. You can connect up to three additional monitors to the laptop through the Thunderbolt 3 and HDMI 2.0 connectors.
The Acer Predator Helios 500 notebook will be available in EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) in May for a price of €1999 and in North America in June at a price of US $1999.
